What is the difference between Scotch, Irish, Bourbon, and Rye whisky?Updated 2 years ago
There's a number of differences between the types of whisky. Scotch is made in Scotland and, you guessed it, Irish whisky is made in Ireland. Bourbon is made using corn and most popularly produced in the U.S.A. Rye whisky uses rye to create the spirit. In all of these different regions and whisky categories, there are many rules that define each drop, but they're all whisky and we love them all!
